Happy hump day stampin’ friends. Today at SSInk we are sharing Fall themed cards. This card was inspired by the color challenge over at Fab Friday for the week and I thought it fit together so well!
I would not have normally used these together, would you? I love being stretched outside of my normal. This poinsettia punch is so versatile! This flower reminds me of a fall sunflower.
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you will leave me some love in the form of a comment and be sure to subscribe so that you never miss another post!
Bonus post and inspiration today! I don’t normally post on a Tuesday but last night I was inspired by the sketch over at Mojo Monday and I decided to play along!
Pretty much every part of this card has me out of my comfort zone. First off, it’s square. That is something I never do. Secondly, these colors are not ones that I would normally put together. This DSP has been a fun stretch for me and I actually really like the Mint with the Navy and Razzleberry. The paisleys made it so easy to incorporate the color scheme and pulled the whole thing together for me!
Thanks for stopping by today. I hope that you will say hello by leaving me a comment and be sure to subscribe so that you never miss another post!

Yay! It’s my favorite Monday of the month. It’s the Monday where we are hosting the monthly technique challenge over at SSINK.
I love this grid technique. It can really add a fun effect to any panel on the card. In this case it is pretty subtle with the grid being so small. I just received this new set, Star of Light and the coordinating Starlight thinlits. These are my favorite set from our holiday catalog.
Thanks for stopping by today!
Hello my friends! Today I have a card that was created for the weekly challenge over at Stampin’ Royalty. I haven’t been able to play along with them recently and I am so excited to participate this week! The challenge was to create a monochromatic card.
I just purchased the Petals & Paisleys Specialty Designer Series Paper and I love this print! It feels so classic to me and just perfect for a fall card.
Thanks so much for stopping by today. I hope that you will leave me a comment and be sure to subscribe so that you never miss some crafting inspiration.
Happy Monday stamping friends and welcome to another great challenge from SSInk. This week we are inspired:
Here is my card:
Quick, easy and could be used for almost anyone. A great design to have on hand for a moments notice.
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you will subscribe and come back to visit soon!
Happy Friday friends! I cannot believe how fast this month is going. I swear it feels like it was just the 4th of July. Today over at SSInk we are sharing some 3-D creations and I have a fun home decor piece for you.
I made this piece with my friend Lynnette in mind. Halloween is her favorite holiday and she loves to host an event this time of year. I thought this would be a fun display for her party. The Big Shot and our exclusive thinlits made this so easy! Our designer series paper is so useful for cards and projects, as you can see here.
Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope you will subscribe to the posts so that you never miss another great project.
Yay, it’s Monday! Specifically, it’s back to school day for us. Yes – I know, most of you went back to school weeks ago. We are homeschoolers and our co-op doesn’t start back until today. So, it’s our first “official” day of school. We have been working on a few things all summer and started getting back to a normal schedule 2 weeks ago but it was really a soft start at best. That is OK with us and one of the many reasons we love being homeschoolers.
Anyway….this week at SSInk we have a sketch challenge for you.
And here is my card:
This card features an image and one of the many sentiments from the Star of Light set now available in the Holiday Catalog. If you need a copy just let me know and I will be happy to get one for you. This set also has a coordinating set of thinlits but I will save those for another day. This sketch lends itself to something quick and easy – and you know how much I love quick and easy cards. I think you can expect to see this one in next month’s class!
Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope you will leave me a comment and be sure to subscribe so that you never miss another post.
Happy Friday! It’s almost the weekend. Do you have big plans? Summer is coming to an end but there might be some die hard campers out there who are still going out, and this card is for any of them!
This stamp set is just perfect for scrapbooking, memory keeping or card making. The pieces are so versatile, they can be used in so many different ways. I think this would be a great card for the men in our lives.
Thanks so much for stopping by today. I hope you will leave me some love in the form of a comment and subscribe to posts so that you never miss some inspiration!
Hey Stampers and crafters! Welcome to the monthly Inspire, Create, Share blog hop. I am so glad to have you, whether you hopped over from Anna’s blog or if this is your first stop.
This month we are sharing our favorite techniques. I love techniques so much that I teach a monthly technique class – and the card I am sharing with you is a sneak peek of one of the techniques we will learn this month. My classes include one technique using paper and one technique using ink. This ink technique is called Salted Watercolor Background.
I absolutly love the rich colors of this card and the copper cutout using the Detailed Floral Thinlit is so dramatic, wouldn’t you agree? There isn’t much in the way of bling or accessories on this card because I want the star of the show, the technique, to stand out.
If you would like to join me for this class, or would like to purchase a class kit with complete instructions please leave me a comment or send me an email. Classes/kits include 4 cards – 2 of each technique, with envelopes and are only $15 or available for free with a minimum purchase.
Now it’s time to hope on over to Tina’s blog and see what she has for us!
Thank you so much for hopping by today. Be sure to subscribe to the blog so that you never miss another post.
Oh fall – how I love your colors. Today at SSInk we have a great color challenge for you!
But instead of going traditional fall I decided to go a different route –
Cajun Craze isn’t the first color I would normally reach for when it comes to Christmas but I really like it paired with the Garden Green and Chocolate Chip. This would be a great color combination for masculine card as well – or even a Masculine Christmas card…he he he!
Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope that you will decide to play along with our challenge this week and feel free to leave me a comment letting me know how you think of our color combo.
